St Paul's Cathedral is located in the heart of Dundee City Centre, within walking distance of Dundee Railway and Bus Stations. There is pay parking in nearby Gellavly Street. 

Dundee is Scotland's fourth largest city, with a vibrant local cultural scene and tertiary education institutions. Once famous for "Jute, Jam and Journalism", it is fast becoming renowned for it high-tech industries and research, centered around the universities and Medical School.

Dundee is readily accessible to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen by public transport or private car and has some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery on its doorstep.

The Cathedral is a listed building, built on Castle Hill Rock: this does present some challenges with accessibility. We are currently working towards gaining lift access for the Cathedral and associated buildings, but this major project will take time. If you require assistance to get into the Cathedral, please contact us beforehand (see below) and we will try to help you as much as we can.

We have two proposals for gaining improved access at the Cathedral:

Option 1: Lift access from near Ark Nursery/Castlehill House gate to new entrance foyer, with internal lift to Cathedral buildings			Option 2: Same as option 1, but with expanded entrance foyer with space for informal reception area, displays etc.
