The Ark Aims to:

• Create a stimulating, caring and safe environment for all children attending the nursery.

• Actively promote the development of positive self-image in the children.

• Work as partners with parents/carers in an open and honest way.

• Encourage the input of parents/carers in all aspects of the running of the Nursery

• Encourage parents/carers to visit the Nursery at any time.

• Provide an atmosphere which makes the child and the parent/carer happy and comfortable in the Nursery.

• Have an involvement with the local community

• develop and maintain strong links with other agencies

• Create a non-sexist environment by introducing toys, books and games that encourage equal development of both sexes.
